Rev. John A. Perricone is a Roman Catholic priest, author, and lecturer dedicated to the preservation and transmission of the Church’s doctrinal and liturgical tradition.

Biography

Father Perricone holds a master’s degree in biblical studies, a second master’s degree in dogmatic theology, and earned his Ph.D. in medieval philosophy from Fordham University. Ordained to the priesthood in 1976, he recently celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of his ordination. His academic formation reflects a lifelong commitment to the intellectual tradition of the Roman Catholic Church.

Ministry

Over the course of many decades of priestly ministry, Father Perricone has served as a teacher, preacher, author, and spiritual guide. His essays and articles on Catholic theology, philosophy, liturgy, and culture have appeared in numerous Catholic publications. His priestly work has been marked by clarity of doctrine, reverence for the sacred liturgy, and fidelity to the Church’s perennial teachings.

Father Perricone celebrates the Traditional Latin Mass every Sunday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Hackensack, New Jersey.

Role in the Society

He serves as the Founding Spiritual Director of the Society for Sacred Tradition. In this role, he helps guide the Society’s work of fostering reverent worship, sound doctrine, and renewed appreciation for the sacred tradition of the Roman Catholic Church.
